NEW ORLEANS – The Farm Bureau named Sadie Phelps, 29, of Napoleonville, its Outstanding Young
Farm Woman for 2008. Phelps and her husband Corey operate a commercial cattle operation.
“The passion demonstrated by Farm Bureau and its role of
supporting agriculture keeps me positive in the role I play in
farming and ranching,” Phelps said. “People should never
stop being reminded of how important food production is to
the success and prosperity of our country.”
