NEW ORLEANS--  Victoria Pellerin and Hailee Weber danced away with top honors at the Louisiana Farm
Bureau Federation’s annual Talent Contest here.

Before a standing-room-only crowd, the pair, who
represented St. Charles Parish, leapt and floated across
the stage to “Lighthouse” and the senior division win.
The Talent Contest is one of the most highly anticipated
events of the state’s largest farm organization’s annual
meeting.

Placing second in the senior division were dancers
Jennifer Gravois and Courtney Dornier of East St.
James Parish. They performed an energetic dance
routine to Janet Jackson’s “What Have You Done For
Me Lately.”  Gravois is from Grand Point; Dornier is a
resident of Lutcher.

Laura E. Couvillon, who represented Vermilion Parish,
placed third.

Dancing to “Bet Your Life I’m Glad I’m Me,”
Madeline Begnaud and Chloe Comeaux, of St. Landry
Parish, seemed to live up to their song as they took
the junior division win.

Anna Cecile Rudesill, of St. Tammany Parish, was named second runner-up, and first runner-up was
Lauren Marie Delhaye, of Lafourche Parish.

The Talent Contest is one of many youth events sponsored by the Louisiana Farm Bureau’s Women’s
Leadership Committee. The events are a way for young people to be part of the group’s annual meeting,
which this year attracted more than 1,200 farmers and ranchers.
