We are a private, non-profit, non-governmental agency established in 1922 to bring a voice to agricultural issues.

2014 DeSoto Parish Agricultural Production

DeSoto Parish is located due south of the Shreveport and Bossier City metropolitan areas. The parish is divided into dairy and timber land. Until recently the economy was primarily agricultural—comprised mostly of beef cattle, dairy and forestry.
