The Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation is the state’s largest general farm organization representing farmers, ranchers and rural residents. We are a private, non-profit, non-governmental agency established in 1922 to bring a voice to agricultural issues.
Information & Public Relations
The public relations and information department is responsible for telling the farmer's story. The PR team produces the statewide television program "This Week in Louisiana Agriculture". The program currently airs on 18 affiliates across the state and across the country on RFD-TV on Direct-TV and the DISH Network.
The PR department also operates the Louisiana Farm Bureau Agri-news Radio Network (LFBARN). The LFBARN is the largest agricultural radio network in Louisiana.
