We're committed to the development and prosperity of Louisiana's farmers, ranchers and agriculture. We are a private, non-profit, non-governmental agency established in 1922 to bring a voice to agricultural issues.

The Louisiana Farm Bureau is made up of volunteer leaders at the local, parish and statewide levels. Each parish has a parish Farm Bureau, with its own president and board members.

Rapides Parish is among Louisiana’s largest parishes and is known for its central location—midway between the Texas and Mississippi borders and halfway between Arkansas and the Gulf of Mexico. Its major agricultural commodities include nursery crops, forestry, sugarcane, soybeans, feed grains, cotton, equine, rice and cattle.
