The Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation is the state’s largest general farm organization with a membership of nearly 150,000. We're committed to the development and prosperity of Louisiana's farmers, ranchers and agriculture. We are a private, non-profit, non-governmental agency established in 1922 to bring a voice to agricultural issues.

The Louisiana Farm Bureau is made up of volunteer leaders at the local, parish and statewide levels. Each parish has a parish Farm Bureau, with its own president and board members.

St. Martin Parish is located in south central Louisiana and is home to the world's largest freshwater river basin—the Atchafalaya Basin. It is also home to Breaux Bridge, the "Crawfish Capital of the World." The major crops in St. Martin Parish are sugarcane, soybeans and rice.
