The Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation is the state’s largest general farm organization with a membership of nearly 150,000. We're committed to the development and prosperity of Louisiana's farmers, ranchers and agriculture. We are a private, non-profit, non-governmental agency established in 1922 to bring a voice to agricultural issues.

The Louisiana Farm Bureau is made up of volunteer leaders at the local, parish and statewide levels. Each parish has a parish Farm Bureau, with its own president and board members.

2014 Union Parish Agricultural Production

Union Parish is located in the Piney Hills area of north Louisiana. Every year the parish hosts watermelon and mayhaw festivals. Union Parish produces poultry, cattle and forestry.
