Louisiana Farm Bureau Women's Leadership Committee
“Our mission is to develop leadership for women, promote agriculture and develop public understanding of the value and need of agriculture.”
Each year our committee promotes agriculture at the Northeast Louisiana AgExpo and spearheads special activities such as leadership conferences, agricultural tours, the veterans homes project, and Our Food Link. Our committee supports youth programs, including the Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation Talent, Talk Meet, and Queen’s contests. Parish committees also work at the local level to bring nutritional awareness to consumers.

Springtime means Louisiana Farm Bureau's Women's Leadership Committee gets together for a weekend of productivity and fellowship. This year, they toured the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola where agriculture facilities are part of the enrichment program.
