Meet the Compton Family

Meet the winners of the 2014 Louisiana Farm Bureau's Young Farmers and Ranchers Achievement Awards - John & Brianne Compton. TWILA's Kristen Oaks tells us how this young couple manages raising a farm and a family.

Members of the Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation Young Farmers and Ranchers took a trip to Capitol Hill to learn more about trade promotion authority, the farm bill, and the H2B guest worker program. TWILA's A.J. Sabine was there to bring us the story.

The Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola is known for being the largest maximum security prison in the country, but that's not why the Louisiana Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers toured the facility for the 2015 Leadership Conference. TWILA's Kristen Oaks. has more.

One way to make sure we have enough food for the future is to support the next generation of young farmers and ranchers. TWILA's Kristen Oaks takes us to Alexandria for the Louisiana Farm Bureau's Young Farmers and Ranchers Youth Livestock show.
